This approach blends elements of both contingency and retained search models, typically involving a small initial fee to secure the services of Wainwright Talent Partners with a success-based component upon placement.

 

Structure: Initial Retainer Fee: A small monthly upfront fee compared to a fully retained search, paid at the start of the engagement to secure the search services.

 

Milestone or Progress Payments: Additional fees be paid at specific milestones during the search process (e.g., typically monthly or after presenting a shortlist of candidates).

 

Success Fee: The final payment is made upon the successful placement of a candidate, similar to the contingency model.  Any payments already received are subtracted off the final fee and the difference is what is due.
